
Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently a part with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor on the channel's shows "Squawk On The Street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). As an Ohio native, she was not much interested in the markets and currencies during her time in college. While attending New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. She gained her first experience in business news from this internship. Later, she earned a master's in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The internship was for 4 months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. Following her return to US after which she started to work in Bloomberg's office in New York. She later became a TV anchor. In December 2013 she was recruited by CNBC as an anchor. She has served as anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch' before landing the job on "Closing Bell' in 2018. Eisen is also a co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. A renowned journalist in the business world today her main area of interest is on global consumer stories since she joined CNBC.
