Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian Actress. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress Award for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She can speak fluent French, German English, and Romanian. Her mother is professional player of the violin. Her father is an actor as well as a theatre professor at one of Romania's most prestigious theater schools. The Young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. She was crowned European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. She taught for 4 years at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marina is an Romanian actor who was born in Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress in the film for this performance. The actress's debut film, Sex Traffic was awarded the BAFTA Award in Best Actress. She also was awarded numerous awards for her performance in the film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days, a Romanian film that was acclaimed by the London Film Critics as being the top production of 2008. In 2007, her part in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film 4 luni, 3 weeks, 2 days (4 months 3 weeks and 2 days) was awarded the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two additional awards. These included the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Additionally, she was a part in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. She was also in 2008 as Yasim Anwar in the BBC Five-episode mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca played the role in an episode of the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's award-winning Five Minutes of Heaven. Then, she played an important role in 2014's Fury in which she played Irma the German mother of Emma.
